Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all programmes and services offered by Mark X Eduverse, including One-to-One Learning, Group X Learning, Institutional Solutions, and paid content available through our mobile application (collectively, the “Services“).

By enrolling in and making payment for any Service, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.

1. Free Demo Classes

Mark X Eduverse may offer free demo classes to prospective students.

  • Demo classes are provided free of charge and are non-binding.

  • No payment is collected for demo classes.

  • Since no fee is charged, no refund shall be applicable for demo sessions.

2. Enrolment Fees

  • Programme fees vary depending on the selected course, duration, class format, and academic requirements.

  • Fees must be paid in full or according to the instalment plan communicated at the time of enrolment.

  • Access to classes, study materials, and app features may be granted only after successful payment.

3. Cancellation Window

Students or parents may request cancellation of enrolment within 3 days of attending the first paid class, provided that no more than 2 paid classes have been attended.

Cancellation requests received after this period will generally not be eligible for a refund, except in circumstances specifically mentioned in this Policy.

4. Refund Eligibility and Amount

If a cancellation request is made within the eligible cancellation window described in Section 3:

  • Refunds will be processed after deducting a 10% administrative and processing fee.

  • The pro-rata value of any classes already attended, learning materials accessed, or app services utilised may also be deducted.

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 7 to 14 business days and credited to the original payment method used during enrolment.

Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind after the cancellation window has expired.

  • Non-attendance of scheduled classes without prior cancellation.

  • Failure to attend classes due to personal reasons.

  • Dismissal or suspension due to misconduct or violation of our Terms and Conditions.

  • Promotional, discounted, scholarship-based, or special-offer enrolments, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Institutional Solutions programmes conducted under agreements with schools or institutions, which shall be governed by separate contractual terms.

5. Service-Related Issues

If a scheduled class is cancelled, interrupted, or significantly affected due to reasons attributable to Mark X Eduverse, including mentor unavailability or technical platform issues, we may, at our sole discretion:

  • Reschedule the affected class at no additional cost;

  • Arrange a make-up session; or

  • Provide credit for the missed session towards future classes.

Mark X Eduverse shall not be responsible for missed or disrupted classes arising from issues on the student’s or parent’s side, including but not limited to:

  • Internet connectivity issues;

  • Device malfunction;

  • Power failure;

  • Failure to join the class on time.

6. Group X Learning (Batch-Based Programmes)

For Group X Learning or micro-batch programmes:

  • Refund requests may be considered on a pro-rata basis for unused sessions, subject to applicable deductions outlined in this Policy.

  • If a batch is discontinued by Mark X Eduverse before programme completion due to operational reasons, students will be offered either:

    • A full refund for the unused portion of the programme; or

    • Transfer to an alternative batch or programme.

8. Changes to This Policy

Mark X Eduverse reserves the right to modify or update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time.

Any changes will become effective immediately upon publication on our website and will apply to future enrolments.
